About the Author

Chip Kendall is a musician, songwriter, and author with a passion for inspiring young people to live with courage, curiosity, and purpose. Known for his high-energy performances, engaging storytelling, and deep love for faith and creativity, Chip has toured extensively in schools, churches, and festivals across the UK and beyond.

He is the national leader of Soul Children UK, a growing movement of youth gospel choirs, and has written or co-written 17 books designed to help young people connect with the Bible and discover their God-given potential.

Born in Florida and raised in Jerusalem, Chip now lives in the UK with his wife Helen and their three children. Together, Chip and Helen have co-authored the ERV Youth Bible Study Guide series (Authentic Media, 2013) — a collection of 12 books covering topics such as Peer Pressure, Image and Self-Esteem, Sexuality, Tough Times, and Sharing Your Faith.Chip also wrote The Mind of chipK: Enter at Your Own Risk (Authentic Media, 2008), a 45-day interactive journal for young people.

The Level Up series represents Chip’s newest project — four books designed especially for today’s 9–13-year-olds. With humour, honesty, and hope, Chip tackles big themes such as confidence, respect, curiosity, and potential, equipping the next generation to thrive in a fast-changing world.
